How to have your event sent out via THEZine.
It's easy as 1. 2. 3.!

1.   Go to our pricing page, choose the package that suits your needs.
2.   E mail THEZine to let us know if you want to run an e flyer, a weekly listing
or both and for how long. An invoice with THEZine's mailing address,
can then be e mailed to you to direct payment to (via cheque only please)

3.   Then just e mail THEZine your flyer or text you want posted.


The weekly Zine listing is a multi listing text only send out. It is sent out once weekly, at the beginning of each week. There is no word limit but try to keep it brief please.  I will edit down if it appears too wordy.

THEZine e flyers are individual mail outs, in poster format. They are sent out one time and are posted here on our web site for up to one month.

They give you more creativity and space to show off your information!

**Important to remember for those considering sending out just an e-flyer only.

We have a growing list of readers that opt not to receive the e flyer send outs.

They find it too much mail weekly and only want the one multi listing newsletter.
That way they get all the info on one e mail.
This option accommodates those readers perfectly.

Your best bet, and best use of THEZine as a way to promote your info to more people,

is to also run your listing on the weekly newsletter style Zine send out for a time.
Not just send an e flyer only. E flyers only go out one time.
This way your info will be seen by all our readers a few times,
including the  800+ now that opt out of the e flyers.**

 

LISTING  DEADLINES

The earlier the better please!
Please don't leave it until the last minute to send me your info to broadcast.

It is to your benefit to get your event and e flyers posted a few weeks in advance to give your event time to circulate and be seen.

 
Last minute or rush requests, may NOT be doable or may result in things not getting done just right.  Please get the info to me with a decent amount of time to work on for that weeks send out.

It is suggested that you run your advertising campaign a good deal of time ahead of your event, not just one blast a couple days before.  People who read THEZine often save things to read later or maybe don't get to read it right away, they also need time to plan ahead and tell other people and make plans when they want to attend your event.

Here is an example quoted from one of our readers. ..

"Hi...Is there any way we could get more advance notice of these events.
Our Social Club plans it's calendar of activities 1 1/2 months in advance.
There are certainly some we would probably buy tickets for,
if we had more notice."

Items to include
Name of organization or event / pertinent dates / opening reception hours / pricing details / location address including city / e-mail and www contact info as well as name & phone number if wanted.  You may send me updates or changes to add anytime for the duration your advert runs.  Images and photos can be used in e flyers ONLY.

What not to send
A weekly Zine listing provides the basic info only about your event to our readers. Please keep your wording short and sweet. When readers want to know more, they will take the link you provide to your web site.

Copy for your listing should be sent in body of email or as a word attachment.
No graphics or images are added to your weekly listing.

No registration forms, lengthy schedules, or maps added to your flyer please.

You can post them on your website for readers to view there.
I will not post content I find questionable or that is not suitable to THEZine's formatting. Remember. .. THEZine makes it easy for readers to go to your web pages. Once they are there, you can show and tell them all you want!

Important info for those wanting an e-flyer posted
E flyers are an option that present a visual that the weekly Zine,
text only listing, does not (you can feature your pamphlet, photos, logo, artwork etc.) I can only accept them from you in JPEG or PDF files, complete in design ready to post.  I do not do the graphic design or editing for you, please have that done before you send your JPEG to me for posting.


THEZine is not responsible for the content of your listing

Please make sure your info is correct and proof read before you send it to me to mail out. I do not do the double checking and proofing for you.  I am just the messenger. If I notice an error of course I will correct it, but I don't always,
so it is up to you to make sure it's ready to go.
